2025 Pangere Year in Review: Safety, Community, and Construction

2025 was a year defined by teamwork, safety, and meaningful impact, both on the jobsite and in our community.

Our team remained dedicated to safe work practices and continuous training throughout the year, and that commitment was recognized with a Safety Award at the CAF & Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT) Awards Banquet.

We remain grateful for the opportunity to invest back into the community where we live and work. Throughout the year, we supported local organizations, community events, fundraisers, and youth programs through sponsorships, involvement, and volunteer efforts.

One of the most meaningful examples of that commitment was Golf Fore Hope, where, together with our sponsors and participants, we helped raise $150,000 for The Seeing Eye, supporting their mission to increase the independence and dignity of people who are blind or visually impaired.

Our teams delivered high-quality craftsmanship across a wide range of construction projects throughout the region. From new work to renovations, we are proud of what our team members accomplished together and look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.

Thank you to our employees, partners, clients, and community for an incredible year.

Ironworker John Webber retires after 30-plus years with The Pangere Corporation.

John Webber celebrated his retirement on Wednesday with co-workers, family members, and Pangere’s leaders at the Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria in Crown Point, IN.

During the evening, Steve Pangere, Chief Executive Officer, said “The Pangere Corporation would like to thank you, John and your family for your loyalty, hard work, and selfless dedication to the growth of our company.”

Over the course of his career, John worked on the installation of steel for numerous projects at various regional steel mills, as well as many other buildings such as the four-story, 130,000 square-foot, Powers Health Rehabilitation Center.

John was a natural leader. As field supervisor, his extensive knowledge of erecting structures, installing prefabricated components, and working with other trades was instrumental in the success of each project he managed.  He is a true craftsman and will be greatly missed.
