The Pangere Corporation provides general construction services for Aldi Grocery Stores for new construction and renovations. With a customer focus in mind, Aldi has worked with Pangere to plan and execute complete renovations without closing the store. Pangere’s Valpo Aldi interior finish upgrade project was completed within a strict 15 week schedule. In order to complete the project without disrupting operations, precise planning and scheduling had to be implemented. Construction crews worked night shifts and sequenced each task so that the store could re-open as usual every morning.

Renovating an operating grocery store can be tricky, but with the same Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) techniques that Pangere implements in hospitals, crews were able to ensure the highest level of protection for the groceries and the stores shoppers.
