Lakefront Visitors Pavilion
The Pangere Corporation provided general construction services for the new Portage Lakefront Visitors Center. The project, located on the Lake Michigan shore, was designed to resemble a lake wave by using a sloping roof line, while the cedar wood underside resembles a boat hull. The site, a former sewage treatment plant, has been transformed into a tranquil and functional destination point for tourists and local residents. The amenities include a pavilion with an educational classroom, a cafe, restrooms, picnic areas, and two small parking lots.
