The project included erection of a 180’ wide clear span aircraft hangar, a 120’ x 101’ open canopy for aircraft protection during inclement weather, and a connected office building. The design included structural steel work with two mezzanine levels in the hanger and the inclusion of a 150’ wide x 28’ high, six panel full floating group hangar door. The hangar was designed with a thermally efficient standing seam room system with 6” of insulation and 26 gauge ribbed wall panels.
